The Highwayman Silk Pocket Square

From limited and exclusive merchandise and historically inspired by our collections at Puke Ariki. A silk pocket square echoing the story of a life-saving silk handkerchief.  When the armed and costumed robber, Robert Wallath, struggled with the policeman's son, Harold Thomson, during his final bungled robbery his revolver shot Thomson at close range.  The shot was deflected by Thomson's silk handkerchief thereby leaving him with minor wounds and thus saving his life. Made of 100 percent ivory coloured silk with a Highwayman emblem and attractively boxed.
